The NC State Board of Elections offers NC Voter Search as your one-stop shop for voter information. With this simple tool, you can learn if you are registered to vote at your current address. You can also find your polling place:
- precinct (find my precinct!)
- jurisdictions, including your congressional district, NC senate and house districts, and more (find my districts!)
- sample ballots

Register to Vote or Update Your Registration
Download the NC Voter Registration Application (Adobe Acrobat PDF file) and submit it to the Union County Board of Elections.
Use this form to:
- register to vote in Union County for the first time
- update your name, address, or party affiliation in Union County
- cancel your previous registration in another county or state
To be eligible to register to vote:
- You must be a U.S. citizen.
- You must be at least 18 years of age by the date of the next general election.
- By election day, you must have resided in Union County for at least 30 days.
- You must not be currently serving a felony sentence. If previously convicted of a felony, you must have fully completed your sentence, including probation or parole. (Note: Registration is not automatic after completing probation/parole. You must submit a voter registration form.)
