As Dr. King said, “If you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl. But by all means, keep moving.'”
And that’s what we are doing, UC DEMS. We are flying, running, walking, crawling, and moving to turn Union County bluer!
Our candidates need every Union County DEM and left-leaning UNA on the team. Whether extrovert, introvert, young, old, rich, poor… we need everyone on board and moving in the right direction.
In February, we will be holding precinct organization meetings via zoom. Precincts are the life blood of the party. This is where the rubber meets the road and we need a minimum of five people in each precinct to be recognized as “organized” by NCDP.
What do precincts do? Precinct teams strategize on how to increase DEM presence in their community. Some strategies include: letter writing to new Dems, post-card parties, voter reg drives, service projects, phone banks, social events…
